Welcome to ChartsFM News
Hello, GreatWhiteShark here! This is the first post in a new section of the site. I'll be using it to write about what's changing in ChartsFM: features, fixes, the occasional tip, and once in a while a note about why something works the way it does.
ChartsFM gets little improvements pretty much every week. Some are big (a new page, a whole feature), some are tiny (a number that was rounding wrong). Up until now the only way to notice was to spot the change yourself, which... isn't great.
So from here on, anything worth knowing about gets a short post here!
What to expect
- Feature announcements when something new ships
- Change notes when existing behavior shifts (especially around charts, awards, and stats)
- Tips and how-tos for the parts of ChartsFM that aren't immediately obvious
A few recent things you might have missed
If you've been away for a bit, here's the short version.
Certifications
Groups can now configure VS thresholds that turn into Gold, Platinum and Diamond certifications for tracks and albums. The group owner can always issue a certificate for an entry, but the user who's some entry's major driver can issue them too! Everything lives on the new Certifications page, but they can also be viewed from the artist and entry drill-down pages.

Musical Match and Groups You Might Like
Two new discovery features. Every group page now has a compatibility breakdown comparing artist overlap, track overlap, genre overlap and listening patterns, plus an overall match score. From the dashboard you can also browse groups you'd probably enjoy based on your own listening.

More weekly records
"Most VS in a single week" and "Most plays in a single week" are now on the records page, sitting next to the all-time ones.

Member Awards
A leaderboard for every member award: VS Virtuoso, Play Powerhouse, Chart Connoisseur, Hidden Gem Hunter, One Track Mind, Taste Maker, with tabs to switch between them. All group members are listed, so you can see how everyone ranks in the fight for each award.

More to come. See you soon!
